Saudações! A Paz de Jesus Cristo esteja com você! Boas festas de Nossa Senhora, nossa Mãe Maria, sob os títulos de Nossa Senhora da Carmin do Combarbio e também a festa do Papa São Pio Primo!

Happy feasts of Our Lady, our Mother Mary, under the titles of Our Lady of Mount Carmel of Combarbio, and also the feast of Pope St Pius I!

MAJOR FEAST: Apparition of Our Lady of Mount Carmel at Combarbio in Anghiari, in the province of Arezzo, in Tuscany, in Italy, on July 11, 1536, now the Santuario della Madonna del Carmine al Combarbio: "On 11th July 1536 the most holy Virgin appeared to a twelve-year-old shepherdess Marietta del Mazza in Combarbio, in the municipality of Anghiari. The apparitions were repeated in the following days and the news spread among the populations of the upper Valtiberina, of the Sovara valley and of the surroundings, who gathered more and more, showing fervent devotion to the Mother of God. The historical testimonies report miraculous facts attributed to the intercession of the Virgin." See https://it.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Santuario_della_Madonna_del_Carmine_al_Combarbio.

MAJOR FEAST: Pope St Pius I, Pope and martyr, who was crowned with martyrdom in the persecution of Marcus Aurelius Antoninus, at Rome.

MAJOR FEAST: Feast of the Miracle of St Euphemia of Chalcedon: The Council of Chalcedon, the Fourth Ecumenical Council of the Christian Church, took place in the city of Chalcedon in the year 451. It repudiated the Eutychian doctrine of monophysitism, and set forth the Chalcedonian Definition, which describes the "full humanity and full divinity" of Jesus Christ, the Second Person of the Holy Trinity. Present at the council were 630 representatives from all the local Christian Churches. The meetings were quite contentious, and no decisive consensus could be reached. Both parties wrote a confession of their faith and placed them on the breast of Saint Euphemia within her tomb. After three days the tomb was opened and the scroll with the Orthodox confession was seen in the right hand of St Euphemia while the scroll of the Monophysites lay at her feet.
